Documents to prepare for temporary residency
As an initial guide: valid ID, birth certificate and civil status documents where applicable, background checks based on your residence history and a visa if required. In Paraguay, entry records, Police and Interpol checks and sworn declarations are added. The final list depends on your case.
Foreign documents require an apostille or legalization and translation where applicable. Migraciones exempts Portuguese-language documents issued in Brazil from translation.

The scope depends on your activity and obligations; not every item applies to every individual or company.

Does Paraguay have a Golden Visa?

Paraguay Investor Pass is a route to apply for permanent residency by investment without first obtaining temporary residency. Applicants must meet investment and documentation requirements and obtain official approval. EK Standard helps assess the property route and coordinate the process.
How much does Paraguayan residency cost with EK Standard?
EK Standard’s indicative fees for temporary residency and an ID card are USD 1,650 for the two-trip option or USD 2,350 for one trip, subject to case assessment. Permanent residency and investor residency services with an ID card are priced at USD 1,850. VAT is included; scope and terms are confirmed in writing.
How much property investment is required for Investor Pass?
The MIC states an investment of USD 200,000 for the property route under Investor Pass. This capital is separate from EK Standard’s USD 1,850 investor residency and ID card service. The property’s and applicant’s eligibility are checked before proceeding.
What is an EAS and how much does it cost to set one up?
EAS stands for Empresa por Acciones Simplificada, a simplified shares company. EK Standard offers basic formation for USD 550 and a full service for USD 2,500, including bank account assistance, a business licence and certified company books. These are indicative prices including VAT; the bank account is subject to approval.

What does the price include and how do I confirm the total?
Published amounts are indicative USD prices including VAT. Before engaging us, request a written proposal covering scope, third-party expenses, documents, travel and payment terms. “From” prices and services requiring a quote are adjusted to your case.
How many trips are needed and how long does it take?
The fee schedule includes temporary residency options involving one or two trips. Suitability, appointments and processing times must be confirmed for your application before booking flights.
Is a bank account guaranteed?
We provide support and application assistance. The bank reviews your documents and decides whether to open the account; engaging our service does not guarantee approval.
Can I combine residency, company formation and accounting?
Yes. You can enquire about individual services or the package. The quote builder avoids adding the business account again when already included. Continued accounting after the included period is quoted separately.
What documents should I prepare?
The list depends on your nationality, circumstances and application. Before obtaining certificates or translations, request a personalized checklist and confirm validity periods and formalities.
Does the investor service include the investment?
No. USD 1,850 is the listed fee for investor residency and ID card services. Investment capital, eligibility and terms are assessed separately.
